To my new readers in Internetland, you may not know that we’re expanding our family next month with another little boy to call our son. While I’ve admittedly been so wrapped up with family, work and my #BloggerLife to think very much on what life will look like with two kids, there’s one thing I know without a doubt from my two years of parenting so far — raising a child is no simple affair, and you’d better be prepared, because they come with a price tag attached almost upon exiting the womb!

But for those of you in the early stages of parenthood, maybe we can ease that sting a little with today’s prize for a Case Cringle Christmas!

Pampers’ #PeaceOnEarth — or — Why Serenity’s So Important in the Hectic Holidays

“If you can’t feed your baby (yeah, yeah)
Then don’t have a baby (yeah, yeah)
And don’t think “Maybe” (yeah, yeah)
If you can’t feed your baby! (yeah, yeah)”

— Michael Jackson, “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin'”, Thriller (1983)

Among the various other hats I wear as the blogger behind, one I recently picked up was joining the Pampers Baby Panel as a brand ambassador, exploring everything the brand stands for and what it can do to help parents in an age where one of the oldest gigs in the book is more confusing than ever.

A Case Cringle Christmas, Day 3 — Celebrating the Holidays with Pampers' #PeaceOnEarth! — Pampers Baby Panel Prize KitAs part of the welcome package, Pampers surprised us with a delivery of enough diapers, wipes and Ivory Snow laundry detergent to last both the boys for a bit, and I can’t express enough how good it feels to know you’ll have one less errand to deal with in those first few weeks where all you’re trying to do is survive!

But enough about me… let’s talk about you.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the holidays, Pampers re-released their “Peace on Earth” campaign, reminding us that there are those moments of serenity as a parent… even when everything seems to indicate otherwise. You can check the video out above, and if you know any parents out there with a little too much stress on their plates this Christmas, who knows — maybe 30 seconds of calm will help make their day! And if you’re that parents with young children, so tired you can’t tell left from right nor up from down… maybe I can help.

As a member of the Pampers Baby Panel, I’m sometimes given powers not normally bestowed upon ordinary mortals, and today’s no exception for my series of Christmas giveaways! One of my lucky readers will walk away with a Pampers prize pack worth $50 that includes dipes, wipes, and a jug of Ivory Snow to keep your child clean, clothed and irritant-free! (Contest open to Canadians aged 18+ living outside of Quebec. Contest closes 12/30 @ 11:59 PM EST.)

Case Cringle Christmas Day 3 – Pampers Peace on Earth Giveaway

Starting All Over Again — A New Kid on the Scene in 2016! ?

Palmer Christmas Family Photo 2014I don’t quite know what 2016 will bring, but the things I’ve learned from this parenting rodeo so far make me feel better equipped as a Dad than I did in those bumbling first months where I didn’t know how I could help. Some stuff will be old hat as I wake up to bottle feed and change diaper upon diaper — but to do it all while a toddler’s expecting my attention as well? Who knows how it’ll turn out???

May the new parents out there figure their way through the holidays and don’t worry — people tell me it gets easier; you just have to wait… for whoever knows how long. And to the friends and family without kids who stand on the sidelines, seeing the people you’ve known for ages change before your eyes… drop off a meal or help ’em out with some chores — it’ll make more of a difference than you think!

A Case Cringle Christmas, Day 3 — Celebrating the Holidays with Pampers' #PeaceOnEarth! — Baby Palmer SleepingSo until the next, keep calm, keep cool and keep peaceful — well, as much as humanly possible — and we’ll be over here building the crib, dusting off the car seat and doing everything we can to embrace parenthood one more time.

Good luck to all those who enter!

Adios amigos,

Have you entered all the posts in A Case Cringle Christmas???

Disclaimer: I’m compensated as a member of the Pampers Baby Panel to deliver news and information about the Pampers brand and quarterly initiatives to better tell various demographics about what the brand stands for and offers.

But the opinions found in this post are very much my own, and I’m blessed to work with brands who’re willing to dish out a framework and not demand what they want to see from my content, the latter a kind of working relationship that gets really old really quickly.

If you want to know about Pampers and how they’ll help you cover your rear end (hiyoo!), feel free to check them out on their website, or via social media on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter or YouTube!

And if you’re looking for me, it’s probably about time I start writing more “I’m Not Dead, I’m Just a Dad” posts, because things are about to get a lot more real in Casa de Palmer! But when I do manage to get near a computer, you’ll find all my updates on my Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts!
