This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Loblaws Companies Inc.. All opinions are 100% mine.
Wisdom is knowing there’ll always be those more knowledgeable than yourself.
Our parents might tell us to suck it up, but parenting’s infinitely more complicated in the digital age than in almost any era before it. Not harderāwe can cure just about any disease that’d prove fatal centuries ago. We don’t have to risk our lives in the wild to feed our families. Our ancestors would laugh at how soft we’ve grown while simultaneously chopping wood for the evening’s fire and keeping their dozen children in line.
And to that I agree wholeheartedlyāour quality of life’s gone way up, and many of the problems we have today are far less about survival and far more about choice.
What makes parenting so complicated these days is the overabundance of information available on raising our children… and not all of it’s good. Parenting’s fairly unique when you look at the gamut of vocations available todayāit’s possibly the only area in life where everyone feels they’ve some sort of expertise since they were all once kids themselves!
And nevermind all the informationāwe have all these questions that wouldn’t even exist a decade ago! Will this mix of foods promote my baby’s brain development? What medicine can I give my child that’ll work with our dietary lifestyle? Web M.D. tells me I’m dyingāhow can I be sure you’re right (with several years of medical school and training under your belt?)
With so much going on and our lives only getting busier, who better to entrust our well-being to than those who’ve put in the time figuring out how to do it right?
And so, whether it’s a pharmacist or dietitian you’re looking for, you likely need look no farther than your local Loblaws or Zehrs!
Loblaws Pharmacy & Loblaws DietitiansāOffering Much More Than You Think!
The Loblaws Pharmacy and Loblaws dietitians do so much more than just fill prescriptions and answer dietary questions! They offer patient education programs to help you reach your health goals. They run health clinics, workshops and classes through the year. They’ll assess your blood pressure, lead group grocery store tours to educate others, and help you manage your food allergies. If you’re not feeling quite yourself and can’t place why, it’s likely Loblaws/Zehrs’ dietitians and pharmacists have something that’ll help! (Which is super-important, because you’ll sometimes find new and unexpected interactions between meds and food that you’d be unprepared for otherwise!)
If you want to know more about these services you can find at select Loblaws and Zehrs locations, you should totally visit their Facebook page and hit up the Loblaws Facebook Live Event they’re hosting on March 22nd @ 8 PM ET! Speaking from personal experience, they’re fun and informativeāfeel free to check one I’d hosted earlier this year if you want to see what it’s like!
There’s Something Strange in Your Nutrition? Who You Gonna Call…?
