In an effort to get rid of all the negative energy and whatev in my life, I’ve restarted an old initiative that I’ve long forgotten the name of. Project: Unclutter will see many of my possessions:
- Get recycled after I either read/draw/take the photo reference out of them
- Get donated to Goodwill (old gifts from Cait, stuffed animals/clothes I no longer want)
- Get used for artistic endeavours (you should be the unsightly amount of paper I possess)
It’s funny—my mom’s fairly against this movement (though rarely vocalizing it), as she’s a high-level packrat, while my dad’s all like “My son’s finally growing up”. Of course, to that, all he got was, “Oh, shaddap, Dad.” It’s supposed to be a good exercise for clearing up my energy and vibes, though, so I’m all for it.
UNRELATED SIDE NOTE: Sometimes the most UNLIKELY music gets me going. Right now it’s Brandy’s “Where Are You Now?” which I originally heard on the Batman Forever soundtrack. I just love the way she belts out the lines—you can hear the emotion backing up the lyrics.
Yeah yeah!
