Remember when I said I was going to buy a computer?

Let me give you an idea of what I was talking about when I said I was going to spend approximately $2000 on a computer.

  1. I was talking $2000 Canadian dollars. Which right now is maybe… $1300-$1400 American?
  2. I was also talking about a combo package. For instance, I just looked at a Future Shop ad, and it’s a computer with these specs:
    • Hewlett-Packard Pentium 4 2.53 Ghz
    • 17″ Monitor
    • 512 MB RAM
    • 80 GB Hard Drive
    • 40x CD-RW
    • 10X DVD-ROM
    • HP All-in-One (printer, scanner… not sure about fax…)

$1900 Canadian after rebates.
