We’re really good at making life unnecessarily complicated.

Once upon a time, I’d carry the weight of the world on my shoulders. Not even metaphorically, though—if you want to know how notorious I’ve been for carrying everything but the kitchen sink on my back, here’s a diagram!

Inateck MP1503 Case for 15" MacBook Pro—Protect Ya Tech with Inateck—What's in my bag?!
I call this “What’s in my bag?” or “Please don’t rob me.”

I never made things easy on myself—need to take some sweet baby photos? Bust out the SLR, charge the flash, adjust the diffuser and capture that perfect moment. Despite the world obviously moving toward single devices that do all the things, for some reason I felt it necessary to carry a phone, a tablet, my laptop and my drawing tablet with me wherever I went… but for what? In case I needed to hack a mainframe with a friend on the phone while reading an ebook for instructions, drawing schematics and playing a ridiculously amazing soundtrack? Seriously?

The more I clung to my old and outdated ways, the more I realized all my time was going into things that I could do way faster with a device that’d just handle everything for me. As a father, husband, blogger, and a very busy Team Lead in my 9-5 life, I—quite literally—need every second I can get… and the Samsung Galaxy S6 was the perfect device for making my life easier!

The Samsung Galaxy S6 — My 2015 Game Changer!

It’d been a while since I’d upgraded my phone, making do with a Samsung Galaxy SIII fond of randomly restarting and failing to carry a charge like a smartphone should. It was a pretty sweet upgrade from a BlackBerry Bold 9700 when I first got my hands on it in late 2012, but it still didn’t hold a torch to the other devices in my life—the SLR camera. The music player with the booming bass. The SIII was a good phone, but not good enough.

It’s not the first time I’m saying this, but the S6 changed my life. I didn’t know what I was missing before it became my primary device, but now I can tell you it’s this—the comfort of knowing a single device can do just about everything I need in my life with the processing power and speed to keep up!

I was at the Canadian Samsung Galaxy S6 launch party taking photos with a Samsung Galaxy S6… because I could.

Check out some of the Galaxy S6’s Features!

Need a sweet camera to take sickeningly-sharp photos? Don’t worry: its 16-megapixel camera puts most other phones—and point ‘n’ shoot cameras — to shame!

Want a phone that won’t freeze when you’re trying to keep your top spot in the Candy Crush Saga, farm for resources in Clash of Clans, check your latest YouTube subscriptions and keep on top of social media? Trust me — as a dedicated multitasker, I can tell you its octa-core processor can handle pretty much anything you could throw at it!

All this and the fact you can get it back up to 80% power within minutes with its fast-charging power adapter, and you’ll rarely find yourself in a situation where you’re without the smartphone that’ll quickly become your new best friend!

Yes, I was compensated for this post with a shiny new 32 GB Samsung Galaxy S6 that follows me everywhere I go. I’ll hold it and love it, but I won’t squeeze it to itty bitty pieces… ’cause then what’d be the point of having a shiny new phone???

Wow, this sounds like an amazing phone! I tweeted, commented… thank you for the wonderful giveaway! Telus is the best, they are just astoundingly amazing with their customers.

It is about time I had a smart phone. I know, I know, it’s hard to believe I don’t own one. I just can’t decide which one but I’ve heard such good things about this one. Seriously when I think of all it can do and how easy it would be to take photos, share, text, surf, play, read, talk and even more….. I mean really…..!!!! I definitely need one so why not the best one! Thank you Telus for the opportunity. Let’s start a relationship!

Tweeted, commented and all that good stuff! I’ve been a Telus customer for about a gazillion years, but it’s really time for an upgrade on my ol’ fruit phone and I’ve been hearing uh-mazing things about the S6.

I knew that awesome review was leading up to something spectacular! Thanks for the chance CaseP!

The S6 would help me taking picture and share them so easily! a life changer given I still own a Galaxy S2 😀

It would be my very first cell phone, so it would allow me more contact with people and simplify my life. It is getting harder and harder to find a payphone, so it would be awesome to have this phone.

The S6 would change my life forever because I don’t even own a smartphone. I have an old flip-phone with no capabilities & is used with pay-as-you-go minutes for basically emergencies only. I feel out of the technology loop of society & would sooo love to own something special like this Samsung!
