Graco 4Ever Car Seat

Last updated on April 4th, 2021 at 08:38 pm

I’m no expert at parenting with just shy of four years’ experience under my belt, but you quickly learn that you use but a fraction of what you think you’ll need before kids. Travel chairs. Olive oil ointments. Kanye West’s greatest hits done as lullabies. Eventually, you just become well aware of the specific products you need to support your family and get those instead. You learn that a little investment today leads to greater returns tomorrow. That no two products are exactly alike. All things I want you to remember as we discuss the Graco 4Ever 4-in-1 Car Seat—a car seat that’ll challenge what you expect from that equipment constantly sitting in your rear view!

Discover Just What's So Clever About the Graco 4Ever!—The Box

If you’ve read my review of Graco’s Extend2Fit Car Seat, then you’ll know that I love how easy they make the installation process! Their seats fit into place with minimal effort between the InRight™ LATCH system and removable backing to easily thread a seatbelt through. And adjusting it is no problem between the Simply Safe Adjust Harness System and a one-handed ten-position headrest ensuring the proper fit for your growing child. There’s even a six-position recline on the bottom to make sure your child’s as comfortable as possible!

But the real reason why the Graco 4Ever stands out is that you only need to buy it once. No switching from a bucket seat to something more appropriate when they outgrow it—with a weight capacity ranging from 4-120 lbs. and ten years’ viable use engineered into it, it’ll carry your child well until they no longer need a car seat at all.

And trust me—the things we buy for our kids that we don’t need to think about are always the best ones!

But me telling you about the Graco 4Ever only does so much… what if I could give you the chance to experience it for yourself?

Well, guys, one lucky Canadian will.

Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat

I can hardly believe it’s almost been four years since I first became a Dad. Today, it feels like that moment was an entirely different world away, but I remember it clearly: that first day in the hospital with my family meeting the first of a new generation. Or the multitude of hospital staff in the room to get him there. Or even the slowest drive of my life, my little one strapped in to a Graco SnugRide 35 while I made sure that absolutely no harm would come his way.

But along with all those emotions flooding in that day came knowledge—that car seats are notoriously difficult to install.

There’s a reason why fire departments and police stations across Canada hold child seat clinics. They take an immense amount of force to install. They have all sorts of things to adjust! I’ve had to install and uninstall my share of car seats since, and while it does get easier, it never quite simple.

Until now.

diono radian rXT Car Seat Review

When diono dropped a line to gauge my interest in reviewing the diono radian rXT and the related products, I didn’t quite know how I’d approach it.

Put Your Car Seat Woes at Ease with the diono radian rXT!—radian rXT modes

See, the car seat is the natural nemesis of the new parent. The straps are never tight enough, babies never enjoy being in them as long as you need, and installing them requires strength paralleled only by world-class weightlifters. You never get it quite right on the first try and forever find yourself adjusting ’til your kids outgrow them.

But they’re necessary!

Sure, we somehow survived an era where simply shoving your kids into the back seat was an acceptable practice, but we’re also the same species who once smoked cigarettes in delivery rooms. And treated blood disorders with leeches. Heck, we once thought sugary soda was the key to losing weight. Just because we often do things one way doesn’t mean we can’t do it better, so we must continually expect more from the things we use, and yes—that means our car seats too.
