Vanishing in the Rain

Sometimes it’s good to vanish from the public eye to recompose and figure things out. With what was predicted to be a “monsoon rain” here in Toronto, today seemed like a good day to do it.
The day primarily involved:

  • Waking up;
  • Eating food;
  • Playing Wii;
  • Cleaning up;
  • Reading; and
  • Backing data up onto my external hard drives.

None too eventful, and not too fast-paced, but sometimes, that’s a good way to go about things.

I know of several friends who’re trying their best to “hold on to their youth”, but really, I’m all about looking forward and not back. I did what I did when I was whatever age, and now (I’m not even old…), I continue to do what I do to optimize my life as best as possible.

And sometimes, that’s going to be next to nothing.

And I’m okay with that.

Back to your regularly scheduled programming tomorrow, where I’ll:

  • Finishing shopping for my wedding suit;
  • Hang with the fam; and
  • Hopefully, get a post together to start your week on a good note!

Have a great evening, one and all,
